2/22/21 - This is a nice, original example of a WW1 Colt Model 1917 Revolver, issued to the US Army. The gun is marked with the Colt Stallion, "Eagle S20" military proof, and has a "US Property" mark on the underside of the barrel. This gun has retained about 90% of its original bluing. There isn't much actual bluing loss, but there are several areas of patina, most noticeable on the barrel. The gun is fully functional and the cylinder is tight. Bore is shiny with strong rifling, but has a little freckling in the grooves. The grips are original and in great condition. They're also hand numbered inside and matching to the numbers inside the cylinder well.
